Owner & Tattoo Artist at THE BLACK HARE – Conway, Arkansas
For nearly two decades, my life has been shaped by art, story, and the alchemy of turning imagination into something permanent. Since 2006, I’ve dedicated myself to the craft and culture of tattooing—its history, its discipline, its ritual. What began as a way to carve out a place in the world has evolved into Of Lore & Thorn, a return to my roots and a recommitment to the kind of work that carries meaning, symbolism, and presence.
At THE BLACK HARE, I specialize in surrealism, American and Neo-traditional work, cover-ups, Art Nouveau influences, Japanese-inspired motifs, and the kinds of designs that blur the line between art and myth. My approach is steeped in storytelling and symbolism; every piece is a collaboration between your vision and the worlds I’ve spent a lifetime creating.
When I’m not tattooing, I’m still creating—whether through painting, graphic and web design, or writing and producing music in my home studio. Creativity is my native language, and everything I make feeds back into the work I put on skin.
Outside the studio, I’m grounded by my family—my wife of 15 years, our two kids, and a house full of animals including four dogs and a bearded dragon named Newton. It’s chaos, but it’s home.
Thank you for following me into this new chapter. Below you’ll find my rates, policies, and booking information. I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with you and creating something worthy of the story you carry.

CREATIVE FREEDOM — The Heart of the Work
Of Lore & Thorn is built on trust, artistry, and allowing the design to become what it needs to be.
You’re welcome to bring references, themes, or imagery that inspires you—but my goal is not to recreate something from the internet. My job is to translate your ideas through my style, symbolism, and experience to create a piece that is uniquely yours.
Portraits aside, replication isn’t the path—I want to build something meaningful, intentional, and original.
I design tattoos:
• The night before your appointment
• The morning of
• Or during a brief consultation when you arrive
This keeps the work fresh, intuitive, and aligned with the direction of the rebrand.
I take Sundays and Mondays off to recharge, spend time with my family, and stay grounded enough to create at the level I expect of myself. All business inquiries and tattoo work are handled Tuesday–Saturday.
I’m incredibly easygoing and I welcome clear communication. Your honesty and my experience together make the best possible tattoo.
BOOKING — Tattoo Request Guidelines
Please thoroughly complete the Tattoo Request Form at the bottom of the page.
The more detail you provide—concept, placement, size, style—the better I can plan your piece.
Incomplete submissions will not receive a response.
I prioritize:
• Ongoing projects
• Concepts that fit my preferred styles
• Designs that align with the Of Lore & Thorn direction
I typically book one tattoo per day so each piece receives the time and focus it deserves.
If my schedule is backed up, thank you for your patience—it’s a result of pouring the necessary care into every project.
Trust the process.
It will be worth the wait.
THANK YOU
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their skin, their stories, and their support throughout the evolution from TerynTattoos to Of Lore & Thorn. I’m honored to continue this work with you.
